ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – After months of renovations, dispatchers at the Tompkins County Department of Emergency Response (TCDoER) are set to return to Brown Road.

They’ve been operating from an alternate site on Pine Tree Road near Cornell University since last fall while the primary 911 Center received major upgrades. Two weeks ago, public safety partners and leaders of local government were invited to tour the new space. Among them was Tompkins County Legislator and Public Safety Committee Chair Rich John, who came away assured, and impressed.
