ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The CEO of Disney will attend Ithaca College’s commencement ceremony.

The Ithacan reports Bob Iger will receive a Doctor of Letters. The honor comes about 50 years after Iger received his bachelor’s degree in television from the college.

Ithaca College President La Jerne Terry Cornish said Iger will “say a few words” during the commencement ceremony. The event begins at 10 a.m. on May 18 at Glazer Arena.
