ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) – Long traffic delays are expected in Downtown Ithaca.

City and NYSDOT crews begin joint repairs today on the West State Street bridge over the Cayuga Lake flood control channel. The roadway will be down to one lane from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Officials say the westbound turning lane for Route 13A could be closed. Avoid the area if possible.

The work is expected to wrap up Friday afternoon.
