DANBY, NY (607NewsNow) — Leaders in Danby are looking at paperwork for a conservation easement.

The agreement would preserve nearly 20 acres of land on Comfort Road. Inspectors have described the scenery as a “visual treat,” according to town documents.

Lawmakers will talk about the easement at 6 p.m. this evening at Danby Town Hall.

Elsewhere in Tompkins County, the Ulysses Town Board is considering accepting a land donation on Cold Springs Road. The donation is being offered by Marvin and Allison Pritts, who currently live on the road.
