ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — Crime is down in Ithaca. 

Chief Tom Kelly says that over the past three years, IPD has seen numbers fall.

Kelly adds some crimes are seasonal. 

The Ithaca Police Department is currently looking at hiring a crime analyst to review data and help officers develop prevention techniques.
