ENFIELD, NY (CortacaToday) – Fast action by the Enfield Volunteer Fire Company (EVFC) limited damage to a home on Tuesday.
Just before 4 p.m., firefighters were called to a reported shed fire with three exposures, including a house less than ten feet away. EVFC was on-scene within two minutes of dispatch, and the blaze was put out within 14 minutes of dispatch. No injuries were reported. EVFC says all three exposures escaped with minimal to no damage.

Officials say the fire started when a snapped power line landed on the shed.
