ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – Drivers are advised to avoid Collegetown during an upcoming project in Ithaca.
Crane work is set to begin tomorrow, December 10, in the 100 block of Dryden Road. It will be closed to all traffic, though flaggers will maintain access to the Dryden Road Parking Garage from College Avenue. The south sidewalk in the 100 block will remain open to pedestrians.
No on-street parking or loading zones are permitted, and city officials say extra enforcement staff will be ticketing and towing violators. The project is scheduled to wrap up around 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
