CORTLANDVILLE, NY (607NewsNow) – A Cortlandville man faces a felony in court this week.

On March 5, the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office began investigating 48-year-old Robert Morris after receiving elder abuse allegations from Guthrie Cortland Medical Center. Morris is accused of physically harming a victim known to him. He was arrested later that day and charged with endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person.

Morris is scheduled to appear in Cortlandville Town Court at 11 a.m. on March 12.
