CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) — Improvements are coming to a recreational spot in Cortland.

The gymnasium floor at the Parker School will be resurfaced. The space on Madison Street will see new lining for volleyball, basketball, and pickleball courts.

Yale Hardwood Flooring will resurface the floor for $14,450. Funds donated by Bailey Place Insurance will help cover the cost.

The Cortland Common Council unanimously approved the improvements on June 17.
