CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) – You may be able to learn how to lower your utility bills this week in Cortland.
On April 24, in partnership with State Senator Lea Webb and Assemblymember Anna Kelles, the Public Utility Law Project will host a Utility Assistance Clinic. State and energy officials will be on hand to help you find out what programs are available to reduce costs.
You are advised to bring a utility bill, identification, and a copy of your benefits award letter from HEAP, SNAP, SSI, or other public assistance, if you have one.
The clinic runs from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday in the Randall Middle School gymnasium.
