CORTLAND, NY (CortacaToday) — Cortland’s school district is gaining a new SRO. 

Retired Cortland Police officer Joseph Slater has joined the district as a school resource officer.

Slater, who spent over 20 years at CPD, recently completed his training in Broome County.
