CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) – Improvements are coming to a public park in Cortland.
As part of the Randall Park Improvements Project, the city will reconstruct a multi-purpose bathroom with a shelter component at the park. The new unit will replace the smaller non-functional facility and serve an increasing number of people visiting the park for its new tennis and pickleball courts.
The estimated project cost is $675,000, which will be paid entirely with federal and state grants. The project “will renew an important recreational amenity in the city’s south end which has been characterized by underutilized industrial facilities,” according to state officials.
