CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) — An argument on Saturday night between two men in Cortland ended in gunfire.
A witness told officers one man, identified as Jordan Smith, displayed a black and silver handgun, made threats, and fired a shot toward Clinton Avenue. No one was injured; police recovered a shell casing. Nearby video surveillance supported what witnesses told Cortland Police, who arrested Smith on Sunday.
He’s charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second and third degree, criminal use of a firearm, and reckless endangerment, which are all felonies.
