Cortland officials to vote on fire truck purchase

CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) — Cortland’s Common Council is considering a major purchase.

At tonight’s meeting, city lawmakers will vote yay or nay on buying a new fire truck. Grant funding would cover most of the roughly $1.8 million cost.

If approved, the truck would be on track to arrive in July.

Lawmakers get together at 6 p.m. at Cortland City Hall.
