CORTLANDVILLE, NY (607NewsNow) – A homeless man faces felonies in Cortlandville.
On May 18, deputies were called to Walmart for a reported larceny. A suspect in a vehicle matching a description of the one that fled the scene was located and stopped just a short distance away from the store and arrested.
Nicholas Partis, of Cortland is accused of stealing over $1,000 of merchandise from Walmart. The 38-year-old, who was previously issued no-trespassing notices from the superstore, is charged with felony grand larceny and felony burglary. He was taken to Cortland County Jail.
Partis is scheduled to appear in Cortlandville Town Court on May 28.
