CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) — An online tip has resulted in the arrest of a Cortland man.

State Police say Morgan Hopkins had child pornography in his possession. The 26-year-old was arrested Thursday after authorities heard from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Hopkins was charged with two separate felonies: promoting sexual performance by a child less than 17 and possessing a sexual performance by a child less than 16.
