CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) — An open house for Cortland’s revised comprehensive plan is being held tomorrow, June 24.

“At the meeting, the City’s consultant will provide an overview of the comprehensive planning process including some of the guiding principles of the project and gather ideas regarding residents’ visions and aspirations for the City,” according to a statement released by city officials.

“The meeting will be held in an open house format, during which participants will be able to view and interact with display boards and to discuss topics, concerns, and ideas with members of the Project Team.”

The open house is being held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Cortland Elks Lodge. Mayor Scott Steve recently told WHCU that the process will update the city’s comprehensive plan from 2012.
