CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) — The Cortland Free Library is dealing with disturbances.

Staff recently responded to two situations involving unresponsive patrons in the bathrooms. Narcan was successfully administered each time.

To help reduce problems, the downstairs bathrooms were recently designated for children and families.

The library is also working to install new smoke detectors in the bathrooms.
