CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) – Authorities are trying to identify an alleged thief.

On February 9, an individual was captured on video taking many large bags of cans and bottles from the Cortland County SPCA’s donation bin around 3 a.m. Officials say the donations help provide care for animals in the shelter.

The suspect was last seen in black boots, black pants, and a black hooded sweatshirt or jacket with a cartoon bulldog with a spiked collar on the back.
