CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) — The Cortland County Board of Elections is sharing political data.

22,330 voters cast ballots in the recent general election. That’s a two percent rise in turnout compared to the previous presidential election in 2020.

More than half of all voters hit the polls on Election Day. The county also had over 6,000 people cast ballots during the nine-day early voting period.
