CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) — Cortland County legislators have struck a deal.

Lawmakers agreed to pay consultant firm McFarland Johnson $421,924. In return, the firm will provide design and construction services for improvements at the Cortland County Airport.

According to county documents, an aircraft hangar and a parking lot are part of the construction plans.

A resolution to approve the contract with McFarland Johnson passed unanimously on Jan. 23.
