CORTLAND, NY (CortacaToday) — A Cortland County man will serve two terms in prison. 

Tyshawn Pittman was sentenced Thursday to 22 years on charges including second-degree attempted murder. Pittman was also sentenced to 12 years behind bars for criminal possession of a weapon.

In March, Pittman was convicted on all counts after shooting a woman in the head and neck in December 2022. Both sentences will be served at the same time.
