CORTLAND, NY (CortacaToday) — Cortland County wants to improve the mental health of youngsters.

A four-year project called the Integrated System of Care Expansion Initiative has launched to improve mental health services for kids ages 12 to 18. Goals for the program include training and awareness, evidence-based treatments, and data-driven care.

The initiative is funded by a $3.5 million dollar grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
