CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) — Several small businesses in Cortland County could receive grants.

Horsetail Herb Farm in Marathon could get $35,000 for equipment and marketing expenses. Elsewhere in Marathon, Family Finch Farmstead could receive $15,000 for furniture, electronic devices, and other needs.

Other businesses that could get funding include David’s Aqua Nook in Homer and Lotus Therapies in Cortland.

The money would come from the county’s Microenterprise Assistance Program.

County legislators will vote on approving the grants on April 24 at 6 p.m.
