CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) — A proposed smoke shop in Cortland is facing hurdles.
The Cortland County Planning Board recently gave a negative recommendation for the business, which would be on Homer Avenue. For the proposal to advance, the city’s Planning Commission would need a super majority vote in support.
The commission met on Monday to consider granting a special-use permit for the business, but talks were tabled. The group next meets on Jan. 6 at Cortland City Hall.
