PARIS (CortacaToday) — A 2019 Big Red grad has won gold in Paris.
Michael Grady and the US men’s 4 rowing squad narrowly defeated New Zealand on Thursday to capture the medal. The margin of victory was .85 seconds. It was the first men’s rowing gold for Team USA since 1960. Grady is one of five Cornellians representing the United States in the games, including Lansing native Kyle Dake, who hits the wrestling mat next week in his second consecutive Olympics.
Meantime, Ithaca College alum Meaghan is going for gold in the US women’s 8 rowing team.
