ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The Cornell women’s basketball team is introducing a new staff member.

Liz Thompson is joining the team as director of operations. This past season, she was an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Ithaca College.

“I am incredibly honored and grateful to join the Cornell women’s basketball family,” Thompson said.

Thompson played basketball at SUNY Oneonta from 2019-2023.
