ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — Cornell is proposing a new facility for field hockey.

University officials have submitted plans to the town of Ithaca to build a new facility on Game Farm Road in two phases. Part of the first phase is converting grass to turf for players. Phase two involves the construction of a clubhouse.

If approved, construction on the first phase would happen next year, with phase two completed within five years.
