ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The Cornell men’s lacrosse team is one win away from competing in the national championship.

The Big Red will first have to get past Penn State. The two teams go head-to-head in the semifinals on Saturday at 12 p.m.

Penn State is the only team to beat Cornell this season. The Nittany Lions outscored the Big Red 13-12 in overtime on March 8.

The winner of Saturday’s game will play either Syracuse or Maryland in the national championship on Monday.

The semifinals and title game will be played at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.
