The star point guard nailed a three-pointer with roughly four seconds remaining, giving the Knicks a 116-113 win. New York next battles Boston in the playoffs. Game 1 is on Monday.

A Stanley Cup-winning coach could be joining the Rangers. Reports say former Penguins leader Mike Sullivan is nearing a deal with New York to become the highest-paid coach in the NHL. Earlier this week, Sullivan parted ways with Pittsburgh.

The season has ended for the Syracuse Crunch. The team was eliminated by Rochester in Round 1 of the Calder Cup playoffs. Syracuse scored just two goals in the three-game series.
