TOLEDO, OHIO (607NewsNow) — Cornell’s red-hot men’s hockey team is one step closer to the Frozen Four.

On Thursday, the Big Red defeated Michigan State 4-3 in the NCAA Tournament. Senior Sullivan Mack scored the winning goal with 10 seconds left in regulation.

The victory marked Cornell’s seventh straight win. The team last lost on Feb. 28 against Union.

Cornell next plays Boston University in the Toledo Regional Final. The puck drops at 4 p.m. on Saturday; pregame coverage begins at 3:30 p.m. on WHCU.

The winner of Saturday’s game will advance to the Frozen Four in St. Louis, Mo.
