The Cornell men’s hockey team will not compete in the Frozen Four. The Big Red fell to Boston University in overtime 3-2 in the NCAA Tournament. Senior goalie Ian Shane had 40 saves for Cornell. The loss marked the final game for Cornell Head Coach Mike Schafer. He said he “couldn’t be more proud” of his players.

Three straight wins for the Cornell men’s lacrosse team. The Big Red outscored Penn 15-5. Senior Michael Long had four goals in the victory.

No luck for the Ithaca College women’s lacrosse team. The Bombers lost to Union 12-10. Senior Elizabeth Green had three goals for Ithaca.

Struggles continue for the SUNY Cortland softball team. The Red Dragons lost their fourth straight game – falling to Salisbury 4-3.

It was an up-and-down weekend for the Mets. New York beat Houston on Friday, then lost to Houston on Saturday. The Mets look to bounce back tonight in Miami at 6:40 p.m.

The Yankees are off to a hot start. The pinstripes swept the Brewers in a three-game series.

Back-to-back wins for the Knicks. New York outscored Portland 110-93. Mikal Bridges had 28 points in the victory.

Seven straight wins for the Binghamton Black Bears. The team beat Danbury on Friday and Saturday.
