WATKINS GLEN, NY (CortacaToday) – A convicted arsonist who grabbed local and national attention has received prison time for an unrelated crime.
On Thursday, Boyd Fenton Jr. was sentenced in Schuyler County Court to 1-3 years in state prison for felony forgery. In a previous guilty plea, Fenton admitted to displaying a fake inspection sticker in his vehicle to deceive police.

The 33-year-old is currently serving 5-15 years for setting fire to a barn at Tioga Downs Casino in November that killed 30 horses, a cat, and injured a person.
A new horse barn at the casino in Nichols was built earlier this year.
