CINCINNATUS, NY (607NewsNow) — The Cincinnatus Central School District is getting a new superintendent.
The Board of Education has selected Virginia Doll to succeed Todd Freeman, who’s retiring at the end of this academic year. Doll comes to Cincinnatus after 15 years in Northern New York.
“We were pleased with the process and feel that Ms. Doll will be a good fit for our district, having the experience and qualities that we were looking for,” Board President Debra Kressler said. “We were impressed with her energy and openness during the interview process.”
In a statement, Doll says she can’t wait to get started. “The Cincinnatus school district is a truly special place where the community and schools work hand in hand to support every student. I’m honored to join a district so deeply committed to doing what’s best for kids, and I’m excited to be part of that important work.”
The school board anticipates she’ll start as superintendent on July 1.
