CINCINNATUS, NY (CortacaToday) – A Cincinnatus man faces multiple felonies after a weeks-long fraud investigation.

On Monday, November 18, 2024, Cortland County Sheriff’s deputies arrested William George. The 46-year-old is accused of paying for goods with forged checks multiple times at the Cincinnatus Home Center.

George is charged with grand larceny, forgery, and criminal possession of a forged instrument. He will appear in Cincinnatus Town Court on December 18, 2024, at 7:15 p.m.
