CINCINNATUS, NY (607NewsNow) – Officials continue to search for the next superintendent of Cincinnatus Schools.

Last month Superintendent Todd Freeman, who has served in the role since 2019, announced he plans to retire in June. The Board of Education has released a survey to develop a ‘profile of desirable attributes and qualities’ for candidates. Respondents will be asked to rate the characteristics they deem important.

Stakeholders, including community residents, parents, staff, and students must complete the questionnaire by January 31, 2025. District officials say a summary of responses will help evaluate applicants.

The district anticipates a July 1, 2025, appointment date for the successful candidate.
