The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office is conducting Operation Safe Child during the Cortland County Jr. Fair this weekend. Deputies will be at the JM McDonald Sports Complex from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Experts say getting your child an ID card can provide law enforcement and healthcare providers with faster access to vital information during emergencies.
