ELMIRA, NY (607NewsNow) — A convicted sex offender from Elmira is under arrest.

The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office says Aubrey Plummer has not updated his home address with authorities. Between mid-April and Thursday, May 21, deputies tried several times to verify the 57-year-old’s address.

Deputies found Plummer during a traffic stop Thursday. The level three sex offender was charged with a felony was taken to the Chemung County jail following his arraignment.
