ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) – A cheese recall includes products sold at in local stores.

Savencia Cheese USA is pulling back soft cheeses distributed in several different chains because of a potential listeria contamination. It includes some 12 oz. and 8 oz. Emporium Selection Brie sold in Aldi stores with a best buy date of December 24.

According to the FDA, the cheeses had limited distribution, retailers have been informed, and no adverse health events have been reported to date. Still, check your refrigerators. Listeria can cause serious infections in small children, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems. Additionally, it can cause miscarriages and stillbirths in pregnant women.

Any affected product can be returned for a full refund. A full list of recalled cheeses can be found below, though not all were sold at Aldi.
