ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – A non-profit organization wants to make it easier to get around Tompkins County and reduce traffic.
The Center for Community Transportation (CCT) is researching the potential for “multimodal mobility hubs” near bus stops across the county. Designed to help make the first and last connections between the City of Ithaca and surrounding towns, the hubs could include e-bikes, car-share vehicles, bike racks, public parking spaces, ride-sharing parking, EV stations, ride-hailing pickup and drop-off areas, and more.
The group has asked people who live in or commute to Tompkins County for work to take a survey. Everyone who fills the 3–5-minute questionnaire out will be entered to win a $25 gift card from the Downtown Ithaca Alliance. One winner will be selected each Friday beginning March 14 and lasting through May 2.
You can access the survey here.
The CCT consists of Ithaca Carshare, Bike Walk Tompkins, and Ithaca Bikeshare.
