Mayor Robert Cantelmo describes public safety then and now.

Chief Tom Kelly recently told WHCU that in the past three years, crime in the city has fallen. Mayor Cantelmo says Ithaca still faces ‘acute challenges.’

Cantelmo says the most important thing the city can do is consistently fund resources and maintain consistent staff.
