Burn ban ends in Tioga County

OWEGO, NY (607NewsNow) — A burn ban is no longer in effect in Tioga County.

Legislative Chair Martha Sauerbrey ended the state of emergency today. The ban on outdoor fires went into effect on Halloween.

There was recently a lack of rain that led to extremely dry conditions.
