TRUMANSBURG, NY (607NewsNow) — State Police are investigating a death in Trumansburg. 

Authorities say a body was recovered Sunday from the Taughannock Gorge at Taughannock Falls State Park. Officials say a rope system was used to recover the person, who was declared dead at the scene.

New York State Park Police are also investigating the death.
