ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — Ithaca is considering a bird-friendly bill.
Alderperson Patrick Kuehl tells WHCU that under a law he backs, the city would meet a standard set by the US Green Building Council’s Leed rating system for the Reducing Bird Collisions credit.
Kuehl adds there are new glass designs.
A public forum on the proposed bird bill is being held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 27 at Kendal at Ithaca.
