The team is one win away from winning the Commissioner’s Cup in the Federal Prospects Hockey League. The Black Bears lead the Carolina Thunderbirds 2-0 in the best-of-five series.

Game 3 gets underway tonight at 7 p.m. in Binghamton. Brooks Hill, who does play-by-play commentary for the Black Bears, said the team will be amped up.

“The Black Bears play so well in front of their hometown fans,” he said.
