WATKINS GLEN, NY (CortacaToday) – The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office has identified a victim in a fatal motor vehicle accident.

On Saturday, November 2, 2024, deputies responded to State Route 414 and Rockwell Road in Beaver Dams for a report of a one vehicle crash. It happened around 7:15 a.m.

Authorities say 55-year-old Donald Lincoln, of Horseheads, went off the roadway and struck an embankment and several trees. He was pronounced dead at the scene. According to a report from the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office, speed and failure to wear a seatbelt contributed to the accident.
