AURORA, NY (607NewsNow) – Water is a problem in Aurora.
On July 15, the Cayuga County Health Department issued a water conservation order for residents in the village who are served by the public water system.
The order, which remains in place until further notice, follows a water main break on the Wells College campus. The village is operating off the Sherwood Road tank until repairs are completed, and several properties are without service.
Cayuga County health officials say residents will be notified once the order is lifted.
