Auburn pair charged with Port Byron bank robbery

PORT BYRON, NY (607NewsNow) – State Police have made arrests in a Cayuga County bank robbery investigation.

Two Auburn men, Weldon Malone Jr. and Brandon Millhoff, are accused of robbing Savannah Bank in Port Byron on January 6. The 58-year-old Malone was identified through security footage and taken into custody at a residence. The 48-year-old Millhoff was found hiding at a motel.

Each is charged with robbery and grand larceny. Millhoff is additionally charged with resisting arrest.

According to Finger-Lakes-1-dotcom, the amount of money stolen has yet to be shared.
