CORTLANDVILLE, NY (607NewsNow) – A homeless Cortland man is accused of stealing.

On July 11, Aaron Vandebogart allegedly entered an outbuilding at a residence in Cortlandville and took items before fleeing the scene.

According to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office, the 33-year-old was arrested on the morning of July 12 and had drugs on him at the time. Vandebogart is charged with felony burglary, misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance, and misdemeanor petit larceny.

Vandebogart was issued an appearance ticket. He’s scheduled to appear in Cortlandville Town Court at 11:30 a.m. on July 23.
