CORTLAND, NY (CortacaToday) — A resolution about opioid addiction treatment is advancing in Cortland County.

On Thursday, the Health & Human Services Committee voted in favor of spending $150,000 on treatment at the county jail. Legislator Cathy Bischoff says the money would give more flexibility for services.

The county legislature will have the final say. The next legislative session is Nov. 21.
